Ray is amazing...so thoughtful and persistent to solve problems! We hired him to remove and then reinstall solar mats for our pool before/after a new roof installation. Our pool pump system is older and not very intuitive to use, but he went online and printed the entire manual in order to troubleshoot the problem. We are so appreciative of his going the extra mile. Ray is the real deal, completely knowledgeable about his area of expertise and the solar panel/solar heating business. He is very easy to work with, patiently answering all my questions with perfectly sound, reasonable and honest answers. He is also a life-saver, in that when everyone else I contacted about repairing the broken circulation pump on my old oil-burner radiant heat system, Ray worked over 3 days to fix and prime my system, in the middle of the coldest snap of winter. He also loves a good cup of coffee.

Ray is awesome. Nothing strikes terror into my heart quicker than water leaking and when it's on my roof, I'm a wreck. These repairs are totally outside my limited repair expertise. When I first spoke with Ray about a leak in the solar heating system for our swimming pool, we made an appointment for week out. He then called the next day, saying he had finished another job early and could look at ours in 10 minutes. He showed up promptly and fixed the leak even quicker. I couldn't be more impressed. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Ray Lam, we would rate him a 10 out of 5 if we could! He installed our solar water system a few years ago. He did a great job, from start to finish. From finding the best location for the system through getting it installed into a complicated existing system that had been modified when the house had an addition put on. I can not say enough regarding Ray Lam's knowledge, skill set and dedication. I had a fairly complicated system to install and Ray was incredible about design, implementation, installation, follow through and support. Also, Ray is a great communicator and will train and educate you on the fly. Ray is also an excellent listener and so very easy to work with. I recommend Ray and Silk Road Solar without hesitation or reserve.
