I met my Lovely, wonderful African American partner there yesterday while he was getting takeout for us. He was met with obvious racism. He was in the establishment for 13 minutes without anyone greeting or acknowledging him. He finally asked for a menu, and got one. When he placed his order with the bartender, she begrudgingly took his order. I showed up, we got the order, and she gave me a dirty look when handing it to him. USE TO BE THE BEST; LAST ViSIT NOT SO MUCH
So much potential here!! The location is central to the little town. The ambiance feels very fancy upon entering, but very down home when seated. The food was very good and worth coming back for. The service was good, but felt somewhat rushed, at 6 pm that's not cool. The booths had food and trash from the last seating. Valentine's day wasnt really made special here. They didnt do any special decorations or have a special menu like alot of other restaurants did. The food was decent and the service was up to par for being so busy. We just wish they had put a little more effort into the occasion. On friday night at a different restaurant they had a special menu and made the extra effort.
