I needed a very quick procedure to cauterize a cherry angioma. I explained at my first appointment that my insurance wouldn't cover this and would pay out of pocket. They explained it would cost $80 and I paid up front. So you can imagine my surprise when I received a $288 bill. Turns out they had billed my insurance for 45-59-minute office visit over $500. I wrote to them regarding my concerns and they are standing by this egregious billing. They got the job done, but one star for deceptive billing practices.
