Extremely hard working staff and Dr. Gahra takes care of everything. Our pup just recovered from fractures in two legs and all thanks to the clinic. They always check up on you and treat the pets really well. Would recommend to anyone for their furbabies
By the grace of God we found this clinic. We had our dog neutered at another clinic earlier in the day and by 10pm, he was bleeding all over the place. We called the clinic that did the surgery and they were closed. We called Sage clinic and although we explained all the blood, the lady stated there's a 2 hour wait. We called Silicon Valley Pet Clinic and was treated with concern, kindness and urgency for our pet. We rushed our dog in and Doctor look at him and said he would take care of him for the night. They shut down unexpectedly and I am not able to retain my pets records because the person that is answering the phone calls are a middle man communicating to the new owners.
Dr. Gill is one of two new vets at SVPC (Dr. Evans retired and sold his business). I took my dog to Dr. Gill for the first time this week and was very impressed with him. He's younger than my previous vets were, but very knowledgeable. I told him about my dog's digestive issues and after discussing several possible causes, we settled on a course of action for diagnosing the problem. He recommended a B12 blood test, which came back indicating a problem--I'd never heard of this test before, and I'm an experienced dog owner. I ... read more
I first started using Dr. Evans almost 20 years ago. When he moved, I went from vet to vet trying to find someone to equal his warmth, humor and obvious love for animals of all kinds. Lots of nice vets (they tend to be good people) but none were a match for Doc Evans. So when he reopened and revitalized SVPC here in the San Jose area, I was thrilled. Even though I live in San Francisco, I still drive the 45 minutes to consult with my favorite vet Dr. Mark whenever I possibly can. You should, too!
