Meet the Business Owner Angela C. Business Owner Attended Jessie Lee Beauty School in Lubbock, Tx started cutting hair in 1985, moved to Amarillo and worked for Barbara Tabor European Day Spa. Barbara brought her skin care knowledge from Poland, she trained me in skin care, waxing, tinting, and Dr. Eris skin care products. Moved back to Lubbock in 2002, purchased Silhouettes Day Spa, which had already been open for three years at that time.

The facial was not impressive...lots of facial massage and very little product being used. Angela left the room twice for about 15 minutes each time after she put something on my face. This would have been the perfect opportunity to give a neck, foot or hand massage. Another issue I have is that the facial room opens up to the waiting area and front door. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER EVER EVER BEEN. Okay lets start from the beginning, I got there 20 min prior to my appt. No one was up front so I waited, walked around, and waited for about 10 minutes. FINALLY someone came to the front and checked me in and handed me my paperwork. As I was filling it out 2 employees wearing tacky cartoon character scrubs came to the front and started gossiping and talking loudly while leaning over the front counter. TERRIBLE experience. My mom and I went in for massages, I got a prenatal and she got a regular swedish massage from a lady named "Betty" I believe. First of all she TALKED THE ENTIRE TIME!! How are you supposed to relax in a massage when someone wants to make small talk the entire time? Second of all, on the prenatal she BARELY touched me. I understand she can't go as deep as on a normal massage because of the baby and fluids in the body, but she could have at least put a LITTLE something into the shoulders and feet. I don't understand why everyone has had such a bad experience here. I have been going to Silhouettes for years to get waxing and facials and I absolutely love it. Each time I go in, Angela works with me, and she is amazing. She always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. The first time I went in, several years ago, I had been to another salon for a leg waxing earlier that day. The previous salon did a horrible job, leaving hair and wax everywhere.
