I was craving a good dragon roll, and stopped in here for a quick sushi lunch. I settled on the lunch special of a California roll and miso soup for $8. You can't find much better than that. The California roll was okay. It's one of the most basic sushi items you can get, so I guess it was okay. The soup was also just okay. The service was okay. Everything was okay, or mediocre. It has a pretty good deal for lunch during the week for downtown workers. Sushi is average but not the best or worst. I wish this place had a more distinct personality. Lately, the sushi quality has gone down and the fish seems old or not chilled.
The karaoke rooms here are AWFUL! It was sweltering inside and the server was very inattentive. We had a terrible time and to make it worse they had a very limited karaoke book. Not to mention the issues we had with the bill and the bartender. I do not recommend this place for karaoke EVER!
I've yet to participate in any karaoke action here, but the sushi was delicious. The staff is friendly and several are covered in tattoos - which I dig - and had great recommendations for me on my first visit.
