I saw an ad on TV for a $72 special for a year-of-end check of HVAC/Water Heater. Scheduled an appointment. Technician arrives at 8 am. I’ve owned and carefully maintained everything in my home for 34 years. HVAC/Heater was purchased in 2019. Maintenance has always been handled by the original installers. In January 2025, I paid Sila HVAC Services $12,241 for a new 1.5-ton heat pump installation in a rental property. Just six months later, in July, the unit completely failed. I was told a replacement part was needed, which took two weeks to process and another two weeks to arrive. When a technician finally arrived, they had the wrong part.
