I have never had such a ridiculous experience. The dr was almost two hours late to the appointment and then decided that because there was an insurance mess up she wouldn’t see me until I paid up front. I understand needing payment but I could have been informed before waiting two hours. The only highlight is the front desk receptionist. She was amazing. If you are military or vet don’t even waste time they don’t except your insurance.

Do not make an appointment here. Today is JUNE 2026. I received a demand for money via text. I called and said I have NEVER heard of Karen Sykes and I do not live in the WOODLANDS. The woman answering the phone - said I was “in their system” she gave me a Willis address - I said I haven’t lived in WILLIS since 2016/18 ! She said yes this is when this is from! Dont come here, horrible experience as a patient. They’re very unorganized and dont get your documents submitted on time to insurance, but best believe they will charge you right away.

If you want good quality and timely care, do not come here. Dr. Sikes and her office staff are completely unprofessional in their processes in mental health care. I was sent to Cypress Creek Psychiatric Hospital under her guidance, and if you have ever set foot in that place, then you know how terrible it is. If not, just look at the reviews for that place as well as Dr. Sike’s.
