I gave 1 star for the 3 rooms we had because they smell like cat pee. It was hard to stay in the rooms. The 3rd floor rooms 309 and 310 smelled the worst. 217 had a smell but wasn't as bad. If it didn't have the smell I would have given it 5 stars.
Parking is $30/ night (corrected). Elevator under construction as of early August 2025. Close to civic center muni/Bart. Felt safe as a single woman traveler at night walking from civic center to hotel. Edit to add: Clean rooms, friendly staff.
Stayed here once, it was alright and pretty average, no complaints. This was our second time staying and it was way worse. Person at the front said parking was full so I had to pay $75 for parking two blocks away. And then when I returned to the hotel later that day, 2 more cars were parked in the garage. Part of the reason why I booked here was the complementary parking. Why do they get to park but I can't, especially when there is advertised free parking?
