Have had the worst experiences at this hospital. One time waited 5 hours to be seen during an asthma attack, the other I was a passenger in a car accident and they didn’t even bother to fully clean up my bloody legs with lesions in them from the glass. Absolutely appalling service. Go to Milton Hospital or Sturdy if you want to actually be treated like a human being in need of care. This is exactly why Norwood Hospital needs to reopen. I want to say that the people, nurses, doctors etc were nothing but amazing. However, the building itself is falling apart. Elevators weren’t working. They lost network connectivity for a long time. The food was bad. The rooms are old. This place needs a complete gut job.

No esperamos mucho tiempo para que la atendieran. My left knee was swollen and hurts a lot, I went to the ER, I had to wait for at least 4 hrs before i could be placed in the hallways, i was finally seen by a doctor who told me I should have called my primary care. They just prescribed me some pain pills. A week later I went to Boston Medical and received better care.
Worse hospital experience ever. BH was a decent hospital before the fire. Not anymore. The hospitalist stopped a congestive heart failure patient's diuretic for 7 days. The patient went into fluid overload. The hospitalist also introduced a new medication which the patient was having an allergic reaction to, difficulty breathing, rash, and difficulty swallowing, each time they gave the patient the medication.
