If I could give them a “0” I would. My mother in law was here after being in hospital for a hip fracture. Even after I instructed them on health history, needing a low sodium diet, they gave her sausage and jumbalia. they gave her the worst diet they could have, including cranberry juice when she was on warfarin!! Do not place your loved one in this place. My Mother was here after being hospitalized for a bed sore. She needed wound care and also rehab for regaining strength to walk. Our family was there daily. Twice she fell trying to get to the bathroom. Neither time did they call us. Had bruises on hip, forehead and arms. CNA's and nurses were unresponsive to her needs. Wound care was a joke. Dressings were to be changed at 2 times a day. This did not happen unless we forced the issue. I have nothing but bad memories of this place.
The Physical Therapist broke my moms foot by twisting it between floor and bed getting her back in bed. They refused to take her to ER for xrays. She is in a cast w 3 breaks. Now Signature Health Rehab is releasing her because she cannot put weight on foot. She has to have a lift now for 6-12 weeks. This Signature Health needs major Investigations.
My Aunt was there for 2 days after her stroke and we couldn't get her out of there fast enough. Staff was horrible and her room was filthy.
I met twice with the Admissions Director to address concerns. All my concerns were addressed appropriately and necessary steps were taken to assure me that my husband's care and needs would shared with staff. My husband and I feel that his care is satisfactory and that we can feel free to communicate any issues, should they come up in the future. Nicole and Clerette were an exceptionally good team in caring for my husband. Also exemplary caretakers were Metin and Isaac!
