Edit: Added a star for the nurse who followed up with me on the phone and listened very genuinely to my feedback. I hope the staff will improve their bedside manner, but I still can’t recommend this place for anyone with trauma/anxiety. The star is for the intake nurse who was very kind to me, other than that I would give zero stars if I could. Staff's conduct did not make us feel safe or cared for. Staff does not appear to be trauma-informed. Rather, staff conduct agitated PTS symptoms. Staff was dismissive of our concerns and questions during the visit.
The dr is awesome although the nurse was rude the entire time. I have an extreme fear of needles. I asked my wife to come back with me but when she asked the nurse if she could the nurse said we will call you in an hour to hour and half and slammed the door in her face. Through the entire process I explained I am very anxious and the nurse continued to be rude. I have an autoimmune disease and am immune compromised and I very much appreciate the staff accommodating me by wearing masks. The nurses, staff and Dr. Hill were very nice and made me feel very comfortable. I was nervous before my endoscopy but the nurses made me feel relaxed and appreciated the wonderful care before and after my endoscopy.
