Extremely rude front desk folk, in particular, Jennifer-- who seemed to be extremely vindictive so far as to block any attempt for my minor daughter to be seen by the doctor for a growing medical issue because we 'switched' practices. Background-- she had been seen here for years. Jennifer, the front desk staff, basically yelled at me on the phone in my attempt to get my child in to be seen by the dr she has seen for years (all because we took our business elsewhere). My experience with nurse practitioner Karen Lee was profoundly upsetting and disappointing. She repeatedly confused medical documents from previous providers with current ones, despite my corrections. Furthermore, she neglected my concerns, interrupted me, and dismissed my inquiries, deeming me defensive and abruptly terminating our conversation. I have never been treated so poorly from a doctor's office. I originally (years ago) saw Dr. Mara and didn't vibe (she's very nice just not for me) so I switched to dr. Bert and liked him. Everyone in the office was always super nice. I rarely go to the dr. Well I've been having some issues with a medication recently and called to see what can be done I was told by the receptionist that I could not see dr. Front desk has no clue what they're doing. Some days they bill you and other times they won't with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes they double charge you months later because "they made a mistake" and need payment again. They're allowed to cancel your child's appointment day of, if you do though then you owe them a fee. Front desk is ridiculously rude and check ups aren't done at your child's appt, I've switched care and it's much more thorough. The office and Dr rooms are also like 85 degrees, humid, and stuffy during Summer ... read more
