I have always appreciated and respected Dr. Nguyen's expertise, directness, and competentcy. I have been lucky to have Dr. Nguyen as my general practitioner for years!
I cannot say enough about Dr. Pa Soua Xiong, and Sierra Care Physicians, but I will try here! Dr. Xiong is profesional yet personable. she really listened to my Mother and all of her concerns. my mom is 93 and has a breadth of knowledge about her care and how she needs to be treated. My Mom loves Dr. Xiong, she felt “seen” and “heard” with Dr. Xiong, and that is saying a lot! Wish I could post 0 stars. What a horrible experience. Was told they were accepting new patients and show up for them to change their mind. After going through the pain of changing my provider with my insurance. Front desk staff has no empathy
Overall: doctors great, back room staff great, receptionists are… obtuse, lack empathy and need tech to limit contact with patients. They are the tone setters and set a tone for a bad experience. Appt: first visit, 1 + 2 year old. Told to bring both children (which was odd) Walk in: brought both in and was instantly told my 2 year old was not needed today.
