Dr. Siegfried is an excellent ophthalmologist and surgeon. She has treated me for advanced glaucoma for the last 8 years and removed a cataract and just placed a second valve in my eye to further reduce the IOP. She is a very caring professional who provides her patients with excellent service.
surgery cataract removal and trabeculectomy, OS, uneventful. Same procedure on other eye, complicated by corneal edema and dilated pupil, gradually improving. Dr. S. scheduled several extra appts to be sure everything was improving and was always upbeat and confident. The mark of a good surgeon is the way they handle complications and she has been wonderful.
I had Dr Siegfried perform surgery on both eyes. She was able to restore from almost blind to 20/20 with glasses AND she takes time needed with each patient.
Dr. Siegfried is the very best. What vision I still have I attribute to her efforts over the years. St. Louis is lucky to have her, as am I.
