I first saw Dr. Stapleton in 1997 and he did my nieson fundoplication. He was amazing. I was told by four other doctors to plan my funeral and this incredible doctor said he had a theory and could he open me up and prove it. He did this and saved my life. Thank you. If anyone has the privileges of seeing this amazing doctor you are in fantastic hands. Thank you Dr. Stapleton.

So I was referred to Dr. Stapleton from my primary dr. So of course I pay the co pay and all he says is that I need a CT scan (could have been handled over the phone) and then I went and had the CT scan and was told I would get a call within 1-2 business days for the results...almost 2 weeks go by without a call. I call to remind them and they say they'll get back to me by the end of the day...4 days later I call and they have no idea what I'm talking about...I told them I would not come in just to be told that everything is... read more

Last October 2014 I ended up with and Inguinal Hernia and an Umbilical Hernia. I was sent to DeKalb Medical's Dr. Sidney Stapleton for general surgery to fix my hernia's. I could not have been in better hands! Dr. Stapelton is an outstanding person and a professional in his trade.
