full siding replacement on a 1920s bungalow, they did the whole house in hardie plank. the old cedar stuff was basically falling apart in sections so it all had to come off. what stood out to me was how they handled the window trim, everything is tight and the caulk lines are straight which matters on an older home where nothing is perfectly square. they also replaced all the soffits and put up new gutters since we were doing everything anyway. the color is arctic white and it made the house look completely different from th... read more
Our old vinyl siding had started to warp and buckle on the south-facing side of the house. You could actually see daylight around a couple of the seams where it had pulled away from the sheathing. North State came out and gave us an estimate for a full replacement with James Hardie. The install took about a week and they dealt with some moisture issues behind the old panels before putting the new stuff up. The house holds temperature way better now and the exterior finally looks like it belongs in this decade.
had this ongoing issue where rain would get behind the old aluminum siding and pool near the foundation. tried caulking it myself a few times. they came out did the full hardie replacement and its been through two heavy storms since with zero moisture issues. basement stays dry now which is a huge relief
