bar hop and make it to the top.... one of the best bar i've seen... great facility and nice set-up
Great Bar Great Drinks! – I honestly hate how crowded bars get due to space constraints but SideBar works it out! There are crowds...hot crowds ;-)...but you can still chill with friends and have a good time. The bartender was attentive and made a KILLER dirty martini. Perfect fit for Union Square – Been coming here for a little while - no complaints whatsoever! Every time I come here, no matter what occasion, it's all good. Just tried the food tonight - a lot better than any sports bar I've been to! the bartenders always hook it up, and the waitresses are hot. there could definitely be more bathrooms, but i'll live. am def making it my main spot for saint pattys - who says no to 1 buck draft buds?
BEST BRUNCH IN NYC---SIDEBAR – Went to side bar for brunch on a Saturday. The place is warm as are the employees. The crabcake Benedict was unbelievable and came with an incredibly tasty chipotle hollandaise. The drinks were just as good. I had a great bloody Mary and my friends loved the mimosas. I will come back here again for brunch. The regular menu was just unique. GO GO GO
Finally a Fun Bar to Watch sports in Union Square! – I met some friends at SideBar this past weekend and it was a blast! I love Irving Place but there have only been cute restaurants to go to....SideBar filled the void of bars in that area and its super fun! great drink specials and a very fun crowd. It was crowded but very fun!
Music is just ok, Bouncers can't protect patrons – I went there for the first time on Friday night. The music got progressively better as the night wore on, but it took forever. Some of the bouncers are a**holes and not that bright. Not only did they fail to control some of the drunk guys who were bothering other patrons, but when one drunk guy started a fight with a couple who were off in the corner minding there own business, the dim-witted bouncers decended on the wrong guy and totally overeacted in trying to throw him ou... read more
Great Friday Night Spot – Went here on a Friday night recently- it was a lot of fun. A lot of people dancing, hanging out. Lots of people but not overly crowded. I will be back soon.
Love the Staff – I know it seems weird to write a review based on the staff of a place, but thats how great they were. It was my friends birthday and they were so accommodating and wonderful and even brought her out a dessert and free champagne. I was so impressed. I don't know if we were special or if thats how they treat everyone but they really were fantastic.
awesome sports bar – love this bar.. great tv's everywhere to watch the games. Great food, great staff that tries to make an effort to get to know your name.
