First, we didn't get our appetizer till after we got our meals. My food was fine, but my husbands meal was not. His corned beef hash was burnt, there was no cheese on his omelet and he didn't get his toast till later in the meal. The toast was also burnt plus they never asked what kind of toast he wanted. He told the waitress about the burnt food and all she did was say "oh I'm sorry".

I would have given this a 1 if it hadn't been for the patience our waitress had for me as I was breastfeeding my 1mo old son and taking care of my 2yr old and 6mo old niece who were both very tired and cranky. They have no baby changing station which always makes my skin crawl, the food takes forever and some of it was a little chilli. I complained and the wait staff was extremely rude about it! This restaurant is not what it was 2 years ago!! Very disappointed

I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years! It has its pros and cons but overall it is a good place to eat.

Side Street Cafe is my family's favorite local spot to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their staff is always friendly, their restaurant is always well maintained, and most importantly their food is always delicious. My family and I will continue to eat here for many years to come!
