I have had Stem Cell therapy in my left shoulder and PRP in my right knee and had great results that lasted for years. Today I had PRP in both knees. I must say the injections were quite painful but I know they will be worth it. Dr. Tambar is great and everybody else at the clinic is very nice. I had today’s procedure at the new Glenview satellite clinic.
Dr. Tambar and his staff have treated my auto immune arthritis for over 20 years. Dr Tambar’s compassionate, comprehensive, and cutting edge care have kept me up, about, and moving ! I have lived in Florida for over 2 years, and return to Chicago to continue to receive his elevated care! My Florida Docs tease , that I should persuade Dr. Tambar to moonlight down south.
Dr. Tambar is very thorough. He asked questions and listened. His treatment plan for me is what I was looking for. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
We visited with Dr. Tambar yesterday as a second opinion for an RA diagnosis. I researched Dr. Tambar about 9 months ago, and I was initially hesitant because of his regenerative medicine offerings. The field is still newer and most traditional RAs are not even talking about some of the services he offers. I went to him asking about how to help my arthritis pain. Without looking at my meds list and seeing I have a prediabetes pill, he wanted to prescribe a serious diabetes medicine because it has a weight loss side effect. He did not tell me it was a diabetes injection. If I blindly agreed to it, I can't imagine what damage that would have done.
