The service was fine. The locals clearly like it. The bbq was B- at best. Came to the table cold and it was a bit dry. The sides were pretty good tho. The cornbread was AWESOME. But there’s no way I believe that’s really wood-fired pizza. It smelled good but The crust was a little underdone, could have been crispier, and it had the taste of something mass produced for cafeterias.

Stopped at Sid’s Smokehouse for the first time for their Santa Cruz Burger Week special, and it did not disappoint. Burgers were both fantastic, patties had great flavor and perfectly cooked, smoked pulled pork was amazing, everything was top notch. Great suds on tap and the service was very good. Sid’s will be a regular stop for us now.
