I had an issue with a suit I ordered, where it was late and then the fabric was out of stock. It was for my wedding so I was pretty frustrated. Jon did a great job getting the suit expedited, and then also threw in a made to measure shirt, tie, pocket square and pair of leather shoes for my trouble. Mistakes happen but they actually made it right and I am sure I will be a customer again.
Only tailoring your own brand of suits is a new 2025 level of stupid business management.
I was measured for a bespoke suit for my wedding 10 weeks ago; after calling multiple times for an update, I learned that they just forgot to make it. Because of that the fabric I had picked is out of stock. More alarming is that if I hadn’t called and followed up, I wouldn’t even know it wasn’t still being made. My wedding is about 6 weeks away and this has become pretty stressful. I will update this review with how it turns out, but obviously I can’t recommend them.
Made-to-measure / custom tailoring program not what it used to be. Unreliable long delays. Poor communication. Subpar tailoring. Hopefully just going through a rough patch ..perhaps a personnel transition issue, and will be able return to the Mashburn standard the brand had previously established. Until then, my MTM and benchmade commisions will be made in New York City.
