Absolutely terrible.
I can’t continue to see a patient who doesn’t follow up and then expects that they will get something from my care that is not possible without regular treatment. I do hope that you will find someone who you will get help from. I see you are angry but posting hostile and untruthful comments online is also not going to help you. Extremely unprofessional, hung up the phone while I was talking, showed no care or follow up concern. Constantly talked down on me during our calls. Do not go to her if you are looking for a compassionate and genuine psychiatrist. I promise you that. She seems to think it is okay to act above the patient and to get “mad” at the patient when it is her job to help.
I've been seeing Dr Sickinger for years now and I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for her. She's worked with me on improving myself and I'm grateful for our success. It's fun to talk to her about brain physiology and regurgitate anything I read in literature that relates to my struggle. Dr. Sickinger is absolutely brilliant. It's astounding how knowledgeable and caring she is which is a very rare and vital combination to find these days. She never rushes me and always takes the time to make sure I am getting the treatment I need. I wish I found her 20 years ago and tell her that every session but so grateful and relieved to be in her care now. If you are ready for a life-changing experience then see if she is accepting new patients and get an appointment with her!
