Dr Patel was fantastic. When he diagnosed my problem he explained everything clearly so I understood what a lamenectomy would do to alleviate my pain. The surgery went well and surprisingly I experienced very little pain after surgery. Now it is healing well with no problem. I have had experience with many hospitals, and NYU Langone Tisch was incredible. Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and he took the time to listen to me, answer questions, and look at my MRIs to help come up with a solution. Because of Dr. Patel’s effective course of treatment, I am already getting back into athletics which are an integral part of my life following excruciating neck and back pain. The other professionals in his office like the PAs, nurses, and medical assistants are very kind and attentive.
My experience with Dr. Patel was phenomenal. He did a great job when he did my surgery and I recommend him to anybody. He’s one of the best doctors that I’ve ever had.
