Shutters is okay, however for the price I could have stayed at the Ramada.
Our family stayed here for the 1st time this year as we normally will rent a house. They were able to get us rooms all side by side, the indoor & outdoor pool option was amazing for the kids especially with the mix of bad weather & tons of jelly fish we experienced while there. The rooms were very clean! The deluxe continental breakfast gave tons of options for everyone to find something they liked to eat & the staff were always very pleasant. Great affordable hotel to stay at in kill devil hills! Rooms and bathrooms are relatively spacious and clean. Breakfast provided was pretty good for a small hotel and even had some options for a gluten free person! Location on the beach with direct beach access for the price we paid to stay really can’t be beat.
clean room, brekfast ist american standard, with plastic forks and knife and paper plates. Cleaning of rooms during the stay did not work very good. For the price of 300$ a night, I expect more
Extremely Disappointed – Safety Hazard Ignored by Management While the rooms at this hotel may appear nice at first glance, there is a serious and dangerous safety issue on the property. During my stay, I slipped and fell down a set of stairs due to excessive water accumulation—likely from leaking AC units and runoff from the pool deck.
