Had no respect for me and promised a walkway before closing. Now 25 days later they say I have a fence up that is not even 2 weeks old they can't do the walkway. Single older women beware. This is the worst experience I've had to deal with alone.
The entire build process with Shurm was enjoyable. The whole team is excellent, but I have to give a notable shoutout to Anna in the design center and Travis our project manager. Both were incredible to work with and extremely knowledgeable and helpful as first time home buyers/builders. We were excited about moving to Ashland, VA. We decided to look at a new home because of the cost of remodeling an older home. We looked at a sample home and the floor plan and we knew this was it for us. While building Travis, the construction manager was our contact as the house was built and after we moved in. We love our new home! The process from start to finish was extremely efficient and exciting for us! We had several independent professionals tell us the quality of our home was top notch. Huge shout out to the project manager Travis. He was there for us every step of the way! Days, nights and weekends! Thank you for making our first new build such a positive experience!
Travis was great every step of the way. He kept us informed on any situations that arose and continued to check in with us even after we moved in. His attention to detail was fantastic.
