My husband had Bell's Palsy. He went to the ER and was given the typical treatment of a corticosteroid and antiviral. The steroid was a massive dose that made him feel awful and didn't help the symptoms at all. His barber suggested acupuncture, further stating that in her country it was the only treatment.
