Great Chinese I have gone to this restaurant since I was a kid. It is a very traditional chinese restaurant feel and the food is amazing. The only complaint may be the price. I feel it is a little pricey for some of the food options. If I am in the mood for some good chinese, I don't mind paying a few extra dollars.
Not at its prior glory Prior management was amazing, with the owner helping out on the floor regularly. He and the staff always made you feel welcome. However, due to (I imagine) his retirement, it is now under new management. It may be a case of "it's never like the good old days", but I have found Shun Lee to be somewhat lacking in the personal service on the floor, as well as the food being a bit more bland, without the same vibrant flavors.
Personal attention The food is good, especially the sesame tofu so any vegetarians would like that. There seems to be a wide selection (Meat and vegatarian) and one of the owners seems to always be circulating so you get personalized attention.
Shun Lee Palace A restaurant that has been around for many years and the food continues to be excellent. The interior of the restaurant could use a make over but the food and staff are excellent even after all these years.
Food Poisoning - Diarrhea for 4+ days AVOID at all costs!!! Wish I could give it less than 1 star. Just went there this past Thursday to pick up some Chinese to-go and 3 hrs after eating it I had diarrhea and threw up multiple times to the point where thereâs nothing left in me. It is now Sunday and I still have a sour stomach with diarrhea, hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow. On a better note, atleast I only missed work on Friday and am using the rest of the weekend for rest. Will never go there again. Not sure if it w... read more
Shun Lee Palace has excellent chinese food. Shun Lee is a wonderful Chinese restaurant. It has been around many years and the food is always wonderful and the staff attentive. It is such a great place to go.
