Shun Lee has been a family favorite for many years. We were there last Sunday, ate a delicious meal and enjoyed our server - a lovely woman who was so gracious.
Not for everyone, you have to appreciate fine dining. This is "old school" in the manner of service, presentation and atmosphere = class. The chefs have always been masters of epicurean taste and artistry (try any shrimp dish or the sweetbreads). If you are satisfied with low cost take out from a hole in the wall, this is probably not the place for you. Over 45+ years old. An "Institution" in NYC. Never disappoints. Great Food. Great Service. Friendly Staff. Lovely setting. I never miss an opportunity when we are in the City.
My family has been coming here for over thirty five years (1980s). The customer service by the staff is very professional. The food above all is outstanding especially the Peking Duck and the shrimp spring roll. Definitely my to go place when we're visiting up here from Florida.
