Very good food. I went twice during my visit to Bonham, TX. Chicken fried steak, potatoes, string beans and I added broccoli. To go I ordered and enjoyed later their 4 sides dish. All delicious. Second afternoon; I had the salmon entree. That salmon was seasoned & served just right, quite good. I'll be back!
The food was intoxicating great. Angel the waitress was superb. You need to try it. Everyone so friendly, but the food OMG.

Shumardii's is a wonderful place to meet friends for a quiet catch-up. The muted ambiance, high back, padded booths, and wood tones are perfect for a cozy meal. The chicken fried steak was Texas-sized. Plan on needing a to go box. Potato skins and fried mushrooms from the appetizer menu are a great meal choice. The hamburger was traditionally served w fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. The layer of dust on the booth wall sconce light fixture was a major detractor.
