Absolutely terrible experience with this company as we were trying to get a HELOC. They solely based it off of our purchase price and didn’t even use the comps that were $100k-$150k over what they valued ours at even though we had over $50k in upgrades to the property. They even listed it as a slab foundation and it’s a poured concrete foundation/crawl space. The increased price for appraisal and turn around time of almost $400 and we still had delays closing because of incorrect info on appraisal. We had all of our items done way before we ever got an appraisal and yet we got charged more because of the turn around time and report. The appraiser missed the wood outside that was open and not covered by paint in many places which needs to be done for FHA loan. Definitely not something I wanted as a first time home buyer.
