What a rip off!! Don't be fooled by the ad, they really seem to enjoy what they do. Turns out, I paid almost $700 for 25 minutes of a dirty, unprofessional boy to use about 45 cents worth of sylicone around the foot of my house. Found snakes the very next day, and have since then inside my house, on all levels. Dave is defensive and negative as oppose to trying to offer quality customer service. Buyer beware! Call another business. Worst customer servive ever. Didn't follow up on the work outlined on the contract. When called he said that I have to take his word on it. He couldn't tell me the date or time he did the foollow up work and charged me a lot of money for absolutely nothing. My problem still persists and these guys are not the answer. i found this service to be expensive and not fully completed. within a week of the service, a roofing contractor found raccoon feces on the roof. when i called shumaker animal control (who had caught a raccoon in the attic and disinfected the area, reinsulated areas, etc., for over $3000.00), the response was that there would be an additional $300 plus charge to come and remove the fecal material and disinfect this 2X2 part of the roof. the response was that "friends" of the raccoon has come back within the week and pooped o... read more

I called about 2 wks ago to have Shumaker's come out and check for bats in my attic. The crew was professional and yes I did have sticker shock but they did as promised and removed the bats the right way. I have a house that is attached to another house so I'm having trouble getting my neighbors on board which can continue to cause me problems. Dave was very helpful. I called several times with questions(I'm a little unnerved with critters in the house) and Dave answered all of my questions and was extremely responsive - making time to be available to offer inspection first thing the next morning. I called a few other companies before I found Shumaker's, and the other companies were not available for days - and some I had to leave voicemail messages and I'm still waiting for a call back. Dave answered EVERY time I called, even on a Sunday, and was very helpful.

Highly reccomended!! They answered the phone every time we called, then they removed all of the squirrels from our house and fixed the hole within three days. We are very satisfied with the work they did. James from columbia
