Called Monday morning and told to get there ASAP. Filled out the basic forms and went right back. A quick glance was all it took to confirm what I already knew. While he is not associated with a stand alone surg center he was able to get me into the main OR at St Joes that afternoon! When I first saw Dr Schultz I was on crutches and barely able to get around on them! Dr Schultz did total hip replacement surgery on both hips! Within 4 months he had me walking and even feeling like I could run! I was able to ride my bike again and still do! It's been 3 or 4 years now and I just thank Dr Schultz so much! He changed my life!
Extremely competent.. Had both knees replaced in a six month period with no problems. Ready to run a marathon!
Dr. Shults and his entire staff were very helpful, skilled and compassionate as they treated me for my broken ankle. Their professional care before, during and after surgery was excellent and I would recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic treatment. I am very thankful for all that Dr Shults and his staff did for me to get me back on my feet again!
I saw Dr. Shults in Savannah, GA. He was very thorough at explaining my condition and took time to answer all of my questions.
Dr. Shults was very professional and helpful with the injuries that I was being seen for. I would recommend him for anyone that needs Ortho work.
Shults reviewed/denied Provider's request for W/C approval (Inj. 9/11, 2 phase neck fusion): Request:pt. to continue Physical Therapy 2x6. Supporting docs. submitted stating pt. progress with: discomfort, pain, numbness, upper parasthesia of arm, mobility of neck, h/a were less frequent/not as intent, also measurements of improvement of motion. I made it clear on my choice THERAPY vs DRUGS but again my choice is overruled. DENIALS to alternatives is why there's so many addicts in this world!!!!
First off Dr. Shults is in Savannah Georgia. I have seen him in both his Pooler and Savannah offices. I love his front desk people. I did not wait over 10 minutes to be seen on any visit. Dr. Shults seems to care about me more that just a patient. Remembers my family (and dogs). He took the time to explain all my options to treat my old knee. I recommend him to all my friends.
From the very first moment I called the receptionist to my finally driving down to meet with Dr Shults, I was highly impressed. This was my first time meeting him as I needed a second opinion. I obtained information through various health websites referring solely on the reviews of other patents he had seen. And he did not disappoint. Very thorough and straightforward. Very pleased.
