2014 Toyota RAV 4 - $850 brakes pads and rotors. Took advantage of a female knowing that she had no idea about brake systems. This is a con artist at work. Absolutely a complete rip off. This $280 of parts (at the most). Just know as a single female you wlll be taken advantage of. Never go to this place for any reason.
BEWARE If I could rate this place a zero star I would. Came in for a state inspection, and was given a story about things they would have to do. A bunch of the two guys up front whispering to each other while I sat in the waiting room, their stories constantly changing about what needed done. This is fine, that isn't fine, we need to change all of these things, etc. Worst part was they tried to tell me a tire that I had replaced 2 months prior would need replaced in order to pass inspection. This business is my "go-to" place for inspections, oil/filter changes, brakes and general, straight ahead auto repair/maintenance. Rates are comparable and reasonable and they are prompt with service. You are always greeted with a smile and courteous service from Dave C., the desk jockey. I have done business with them for about 15 years. One thing: check your invoice mileage to make sure there isn't a typo. I was a loyal customer for years...until recently. My vehicle was unable to pass inspection. I spent over $800 on tires and brakes and they misdiagnosed the check engine light as a faulty gas cap( which I had already replaced). After sending me home with a ten day re inspect permit, the light came back on. This time the smoke test showed a valve leak, they were not qualified to repair and said I now had to illegally drive it to a dealership.
