Retained Shulman & Partners for what should of been a quick and simple divorce and separation agreement. Julia mentioned it should of been a flat rate of $2,500 for the divorce and another $1,000 or so for the separation agreement on top of that. June 24th I retained them. Fast forward to August and only a few emails and phone calls have been made and they are already asking me for another almost $800 to top up my retainer.
