I had practiced judo for about two years then had to stop. I took up study again 40 years later at the age of my early 60's At my age I was somewhat slow and clumsy. But all members and Blane Sensei were patient yet did not hold back. It was such a kick to get back into the training, Kata, and a bit of random. More importantly it helped me regain my sense of belonging, and knowing my inner-self. Young or old, the art and practice of judo has a place for everyone.
