Food is not authentic Louisiana seafood. Waitress asked why we didn’t want to go boxes, replied with we don’t like the food. Instead of just an apology she wanted to know why. When explained that the gumbo is not supposed to be cream based and jambalaya usually doesn’t mix seafood with pork she returns the comment well it’s our second most sold dish. Best restaurant in Omaha, I prefer the original 119th location, the best oysters are from PEI and my favorite meal is Trout Amandine
We are from Kansas City and finally got a chance to eat here based on recommendations. Amazing food and service! We will definitely be back when we are in Omaha!!
Three of us all had different dishes and they were all amazing. would definitely have Oyster Rockafeller again!
This was my first visit to Shucks. it will most definitely not be my last. Great staff and the oysters were fresh and delicious. I recommend ordering The Roundabout if you haven't tried oysters before.
