Excellent theatre – I have nothing but the best to say about the Shubin Theatre and its founder, Denise Shubin. This is a place that really believes in live theatre and gives upcoming theatre artists (actors, playwrights, directors, etc.) a place to showcase their work. Places like the Shubin Theatre are the reason off-Broadway theatre still exists: they aren't in it solely for the money. Philly is lucky to have them!
