Was scheduled for an appointment at 10:00 and left the house at 9:10. At 9:30 I realized I was tracking to arrive late due to a vehicle fire on the freeway, so I called and asked about the grace period, specifically stating if we weren’t able to be seen we would save ourself the drive. I was told there was a 15 minute grace period. Dr. Brock is by far the best psychiatrist I’ve ever had the privilege of seeing. After over twenty years of psychiatric care and encountering some truly unpleasant professionals along the way, I’m beyond grateful to have found him. He’s not only an exceptional doctor but also an amazing person.
They are sales rep more than anything. These people do not care about your trauma will not help, snobby and rude. They push medication. Front desk lady very nice, Analease the PA no. She kept trying to push adding a new medication after multiple times declining. My previous medication was and IS working but she was trying to change it. The new patient appointment was 30 minutes on the dot which is not enough to get good patient history or assessment of a person. I have been a patient for 20 years. I love everyone in that office. They are all very nice and supportive. I would drive 100 miles to continue to see them. Thanks Dr. Brock for being who you are, and for hiring such wonderful staff.
If you are looking for a place that feels friendly and safe where you can let down your guard I do believe this is the place for you. Dr. Chad Brock was very polite and easy to be around. However if you are looking for a place that cares about you and your situation then I highly recommend you go somewhere else because that same polite energy might make your situation deeply worse.
