I used to love this place but after coming back into town this past weekend and eating there last night I now think different. 30 bucks and my grouper made me sick literally. Absolutely disgusting did not taste like grouper at all but more like a blackened sardine. After paying over 75 bucks for dinner I’m completely disappointed. Sad when you grew up in Pt Salerno and come back to your home town and your favorite restaurant is completely horrible.

Ambiance and view are great. Staff was great. Beer is ice cold! Fried Calamari was very bland. Reminded me of plain mashed potatoes. Sauce its served with tastes like watered down honey mustard... weird not good. Cesar salad had way too much parm cheese, super salty croutons, all leaf. Fried platter batter to thick and hard to eat fish. Shrimp had no taste. Scallops were perfect. Ahi Tuna had no taste, greens beans were great. Bread was great. Side rice was tasty.

We've been going to Shrimpers for many years and have never been disappointed. The food and service are great. Last night we were there with a party of 10 and all our meals were served at the same time and everyone enjoyed them. Our server did an excellent job.
