Good chicken and fries. Were out of salads. Would definitely return again!
Do not order the chicken fried steak. It comes with nasty brown gravy like they serve in the north. It's gross. Chicken fired steak is suppose to come with white gravy! Will be the first and last time we eat here!
They also have the best cheesecake in the world! Awesome deliciousness!
Highly recommended!!! This is our favorite lunch spot in Galveston, both for the excellent food and the friendly staff. Chef Juan Cardona is talented and makes guests feel like friends. The whole menu is outstanding, but the broiled stuffed shrimp is our favorite!
Local, fresh, delicous, excellent service, gorgeous dinning room. Enough said.
We had the worst experience ever at Shrimp & Stuff on 23rd. The waitress was extremely rude and told us there were NO subtitutions allowed, even though the menu showed the price for substitutes. Our party of ten payed for our drinks and left. Very embarrassing for me since I was the one who recommended the restaurant
Have been going to Ave. O S&S for years. Downtown S&S is upscale with same delicious food.
We loved the original so much that we decided to try this one while downtown. Not nearly as good. Gumbo was okay. Fried seafood platter was mediocre and not left in the fryer long enough. Also took about 10 minutes for anyone to come take our drink order.
