We got there before the rush which is good but we were less than impressed. I've heard all the accounts of how good this place is but it is not special. My moms cooking could give them a few pointers. There is no flavor whatsoever. The hush puppies were okay.... but I've had better. The girl at the counter did not listen when I said I want 2 two piece catfish meals. Instead she charged us for the 3 piece meal which came out to 25 dollars alone!! The boudin balls were gross. My husband and I were here on vacation and ate here twice. Great food and prices. Nice change from the tourist traps on Seawall Blvd
Shrimp Kisses are the best along with the Fireballs ( but ask for extra cripy)

Not bad first time there. Less stuffing and more crab would have been a 4+ both crab balls and stuffed shrimp. Shrimp gumbo was very good.
The popcorn shrimp & shrimp kisses are delicious.
Awesome portions, friendly staff, had shrimp gumbo, crab balls, and fried shrimp, the wife had fish tacos
