RecommendedLots of food. Catfish is amazing. I’ve never had anything bad here.
They offer a decent meal but the prices are premium and the food was average.
We stop here every year we are in Galveston. Great food and nice people.

We were not that impressed with the food, but did find the hush puppies good. They seemed to be the most flavorful thing there. But I recommend it because the counter staff was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. They need to up their food game to match the staff. They also need to update their website. Had none of the items listed there. No gumbo # :(
I came from Oklahoma to Galveston for vacation and had no idea where to go to eat. My friend and I googled quite a few places and I always read the reviews to see what others think of them as well. Not only did I see wayyy more good reviews than bad, I also liked that they had their menu posted...WITH PRICES, so that we were able to see what we would be getting for our money. Shrimp and stuff is always wonderful! We don’t miss it when we come to Galveston. It is the best!
Found this place on trip advisor as a great hot spot to try. I tried their fried fish (batter is too grainy for my liking), hushpuppies ( tasted re-fried/old and hard crust), stuffed shrimp (stuffing was mushy and flavorless), and crab balls (same stuffing as stuffed shrimp). I did enjoy my kids dinner of country fried steak with spicy boiled potatoes � brown gravy is full of flavor. Overall okay for us not great but still willing to go again to try rest of menu. �
