We were transferred to Swedish American from another local hospital after my daughter had a febrile seizure. Dr. Menon told me that we didn't need to be there and that we should have went home because they were just going to monitor her and give her medication every 3 hours. She was rude and very nasty. Probably the worst provider I've ever interacted with in my life, which is terrifying as a parent with a child who was admitted for care. Not only was her verbal diagnosis and plan of care incorrect, her bedside manner and treatment towards me as a parent was hostile and a nightmare. She told me I could seek care elsewhere, and I refused discharge until I spoke with the specialist. The specialist was a night and day difference.
