Dr. Shrover was amazing! I was once a patient of his when I was 6-10 years old. He once worked in Dayton Ohio and he then left. He saved my life. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be here today. I truly am great full for his service. Once he left Dayton Children’s the GI department was never the same. He did great wonders for me and many other patients.

Like the review belowe me I'm unsure how he works with kids. He cut my son off when he was talking, ignored him, had no personality. I could deal with that if he actually cared to help. I was seeing the other g.i but she left and told me to see Dr.Shover and he was the only provider they had. I went in and he was very rude to me, told me there's nothing he can do. I waited 5 months for this appt and drove 40 mins to be told he can't help me. My so has been hospitalized twice and had biopsies and surgery's for his bowel issue... read more

Dr.Shover was horrible, very rude and insensitive, not sure how he works with kids. Was not at all interested in helping my daughter find out if she has celiac disease or not . He told my daughter that if she thinks gluten is getting her sick , then just don’t eat it for the rest of her life . Not caring at all.

He took excellent care of my son in a very complicated scenario. He was also interested in resolving the problem instead of just hurrying through. I've spent a long time in the medical field and Dr. Shover was great.
