If you would like to be treated like trash and thrown out with it (and actually get hit with an actual trash bag by a worker here) on your one night out for a birthday then come here. The bouncers especially know how to treat you like you are not a person and ignore you when you tell them they hit you with trash. the staff asked us to leave after closing so we waited outside for our uber. the staff proceeded to throw their trash outside and a few bags of trash hit the back of my girlfriend. i dont care if you had a bad night or hate your job but there is no excuse to hit your customers with your garbage. i dont have anything nice to say about shotgun bettys. if your staff throws trash at a customer even outside after hours and doesnt acknowledge it let alone apologize i will insist people not go there.
Literally the worst place I have been in des Moines. The DJ was a complete jerk when I asked about a costume contest... he proceeded to tell me I wasn't good enough to qualify for their contest and turn away to talk to his friends and shotgun a beer. From my experience it was terrible. I will not go back and will continue to tell people how rude this establishment was.

Two months ago I lost my husband to cancer. My husbands request was that when the time was right, I was to go out dance & have a good time AND pick up the bar tab for whomever was with me. My first night out we ended up here. I have not danced that much. Sang that much. Drank that much in a very long time.
