We coming back every year when we vacation in Williamsburg. Great food and very reasonably priced.
Best breakfast I have ever eaten! Wonderful Service! Great place!
The servers was great we were greeted as soon as we sat down. She took our food order. And kept checking if we needed anything. Food came right out and hot as well as good. Wilson needs servers like these ladies. Great experience.
The table turnover is quick, the wait is well worth it and the food and service were excellent, even as busy as they were at 1130 on a Sunday morning. Pancakes, cottage fries and fresh brewed iced tea are a must-try, unless you are insane.
I don't think this place was here when I lived in Williamsburg! Good old fashioned diner food! They really know how to poach eggs and make creamy grits and crispy corned beef hash! It's also the kind of place that attracts a posse of silver and white haired gentleman regulars coz the staff greets them with warm hugs and remembers their names and personal details...and treats everyone like long lost family. How could anyone resist such warm hearts and feeling of family and community and inclusiveness?
My wife and I went there after leaving church, we really thought it was a great place to eat, has that diner feel, friendly people, lots of good food for the reasonable prices. We will go back there, we did like it!
What a FANTASTIC place to eat! And a truly well oiled machine as well. Everyone is so polite and helping each other out. Did I mention they have the best biscuits I've ever eaten in my life. I'm not exaggerating. Meat lovers omelette AWESOME! My family stayed in Williamsburg for four nights and we are at Shorty's 3 days in a row. Thank you so much for everything!
