The food is amazing. We went while we were on vacation! Will definitely go again! Best breakfast around.
Me and the Mrs drove by Shortys this last Sunday (a unplanned visit) and we saw a large amount of cars in the parking lot on our way to Colonial Williamsburg about Sunday/ brunch time so we decided to stop...waited only about 20 mins and was well worth it for this gem. Had breakfast and it was nearly perfect..i had the sampler and my wife had the "The Hangover"plate w biscuits and gravy ( awesome gravy!!)...all was fresh and homemade it seemed. Had the Friday special. Fried Catfish. Too much for me and my husband so we share it. Delish! Going to try and make it back on a Friday evening when they have the old cars "cruzin".

The BEST food and the finest diner experience I've had in decades - fast and friendly. To make it even better, the prices are great, and I can't say enough about the fresh, hand cut fries served GENEROUSLY with your meal!! Get to Shorty's Diner soon, and come hungry!
