After a let down at the over hyped Dead Rabbit we looked for an altogether more homely bar and this one was just the tonic. Sat at the bar feeling welcome with attentive service for three hours. No food ordered but real deal � bar experience. Thank you
Cold beer, good food, friendly people. What more could you ask for?
Food was good service was good atmosphere was great. Overall I would suggest Shorty's before a game at the garden or if your looking for a good sandwich and drinks.

Excellent atmosphere, food, and drinks. Very cool place to hang out.
So last night i went in for the first time. Ordered a few Johnny Walkers. really great prices. i was waiting for my wife to meet me there. we decided to order the steak nachos just to munch on! Came in for New Year's Eve and the service was great. The bacon cheese fries were hot and crispy and the Philly cheesesteak hit the spot. Bartenders checked in on us often and made sure they were available to us. We would come here again the next time we visit in New York.
