Was hoping to try some shortbread but none to be found. Tried the beef and chicken patties, quiche, and coffee. Food was underwhelming, seating area looked more like storage, and the coffee was poor. Despite sitting down at a table, food was not served with a plate and barely heated up, and the quiche had hair in it. The patties did not live up to the reputation in local media. Staff also struggled to take down the orders correctly for customers. Was a hoping for a gem, but it was mostly just rough.

As much as I love local business, this one is hard to highlight. The baked goods are underwhelming at best. The atmosphere is unenticing to stay, and (!) it smells moldy. Private parking is helpful nonetheless.

I’ve been wanting to visit here for a while and was not disappointed. I had 3 oatmeal raisin cookies and 1 vanilla cupcake. The oatmeal cookies are the best I’ve ever had in life, I’m a cynic so I was surprised. The cupcake was soft and quite pretty. Had a subtle lemon flair, I’m not a fan of lemon and even still it’s a 9/10. Loved the packaging as well. Walking in I saw women having tea inside and it was pleasant and comfortable. Would recommend.
